Softarex has developed integrated EHR and Medical Billing Software. It’s a web-based application that helps automate and streamline a wide range of day-to-day in-house operations — ranging from patient management to medical billing operations.

The software provides the following functionality:

• EMR — digitally stores and displays patient charts in compliance with ICD10, CPT/HCPCS, and NDC codes;
• Patient dashboard — allows the user to view, search and update patient information;
• Diagnosis, treatment plan, and allergies for each patient;
• Drug prescription — the user can specify patient prescription information;
• Insurance eligibility verification — the user can check patient coverage;
• Patient history — chronologically displays doctor-patient interactions;
• Calendar — allows the user to schedule consultations and appointments, track upcoming patient visits, set parameters for calendar events, set up and send notifications;
• Tasks — the user can assign tasks and track their completion;
• Reminders — email, SMS, or voice notifications about scheduled tasks or upcoming events;
• Superbills — the user can view information about medical services rendered and submit it to the billing provider for further processing;
• Reports and statistics — real-time detailed reports and metrics;
• Integrated scanner — allows the user to scan patient documents (IDs, insurance cards, etc.) directly into the patient’s account;
• Templates — the app provides customizable templates for over 25 medical specialties
